I am still looking for new position, but not always like I should. I DO NOT want a job I don't like though. That temp position I had for a couple of months sucked.

I really have a lot to do around here, so I guess I should get up. I cooked breakfast this morning. Bacon and eggs.

I wish it were summer, it would be so much more fun to be off work in the freakin' summer!!!!!!!!!!! But NOOOOOoooo, my dumb butt takes the temp job and screws up a couple of really great months, and now I could be working while it is GOOD to be inside. humprh

Got George back to school yesterday.

We had a nice holiday, and the kids were out all week. Jake and his wife drove to New York to site see the day after Thanksgiving. I want to see New York just one time!!! I've seen pretty much everything else I have wanted to see except maybe Niagra falls.

I guess there is a lot I have't seen though.....................I wish I could take the kids to the Grand Canyon.

Here it is: Grandma's Banana-Nut Bread (the BEST)
2 C Flour
1 tsp.baking soda
1/2 C shortening
1 C Sugar
2 Eggs
3 Very Ripe Bananas (turning black)
2 Tbsp.Buttermilk
1/2 C chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350,
Sift flour and soda together. Cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat eggs in a small bowl, then add to creamed mixture. Mash bananas very well, then add to creamed mixture. Add buttermilk and flour alternately, then stir in the nuts. Pour batter into greased loaf pan, and bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Best served piping hot with real butter!

George broke his collar bone in the last game of the season for Basketball. His chool's team was 5 and 0. THEN he had an alergic reactioon to codeine! We are havin fun round hear...........................

you be willing to reach into the closet to get me a second
blanket? I'm awfully cold."

"I have a better idea," she replied "Just for tonight, let's
pretend that we're married."

"Wow! That's a great idea!" he exclaimed.

"Good," she replied. "Get your own damn blanket!"

After a moment of silence, he farted.

This is us. We're skinnier now though!

I am so bored. I did nothing today. After making Emeril's Beef Wellington and about a million oatmeal and choc chip cookies yesterday, I was burned out.

I did take the girls to Busch Gardens for an hour after school before picking up Georgie from basketball practice. I pick up Jamila in 45 minutes

 

I am going to watch Maury!

My supervisor from my last job is not longer there. I sent him an email this morning and it came back. NOW I am trying to get in touch with folks there to find out where and why he went.

Jake called yesterday afternoon and wants me to come up there this weekend and make him a meat loaf. LOLOLOL AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhh......................they can't stand you, then they miss you.

The New Martha Show

 

I am trying new things of course. I really need to get my butt up and restart the washer. This is my recreation time though.  

I mentioned before that I had lost a lot of weight, down from 213 and I got down to as low as 162. Now last time I checked I weighed 167. With all this cooking, I hope I can keep it down. I have decided to probably take the little girls to Busch after I pick them up and walk around the park a few times. It would be a nice walk and both Lee Lee and I need the excersize. It won't hurt Destiny either.

In the meantime, I am looking up the Martha Stewart website. I am so corny, I guess. It's a lot of fun though.
